TIC Traveller Account:
Global WLAN & dial-up
Internet access |
Do you make frequent business trips and require a reliable Internet connection
even while en route? Our TIC Traveller service offers you the possibility,
even while en route, of having a simple and reliable means of connecting to
the Internet. In Switzerland, you can dial into the Internet using a low-cost
0840 provider number. Worldwide, there are more than 60000 Internet nodes
available for you.
With access in more than 150 countries, simple software and a multitude of
local access numbers, you will always be connected with your company, customers
and home. As your user data is always the same, the days of tiresome
configuration adjustments are over.
How TIC Traveller works
Using the “TIC Traveller WLAN & Dialup Software”, you simply select the connection type (analog, ISDN, GSM or wireless Ethernet
(WLAN)) and your location from a list. You double click on the selected location and enter your user data in a pop-up window.
The connection is established. The local ISP‘s system recognizes that you are a customer of TIC and forwards your account information
to our server in Switzerland. When you log in to the TIC server from a foreign country, your user name and password will
be authenticated and then you can access the Internet through the local provider. No adjustments in your configuration settings
are necessary to make a connection while in different countries. You log in everywhere with the same user information, which
you will receive from us upon registration.
